Logo with transparency
A flat brand mark on a transparent PNG. Clipart mode keeps the four brand colors and removes the soft edge halos.
Icon from a compressed JPG
A low-quality JPG with compression noise. Edge cleanup turns the blurry blocks into crisp, smooth shapes.
Black & white line art
A line drawing traced in Drawing mode: two colors, clean strokes, ready for cutting machines and engraving.

How to convert an image to SVG
Upload your image
Drop a PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF or BMP file into the box, click to browse, or paste it from your clipboard.

Adjust detail and colors, remove the background, or recolor any color layer — the preview updates instantly.
Download your SVG
Save the SVG file, or copy the SVG code straight into your website, Figma, Illustrator or Inkscape.
Why SVG
Why convert a logo or image to SVG?
Sharp at any size
Vectors are drawn with math, not pixels, so your logo stays crisp from a favicon to a storefront sign.
Smaller, faster files
Logos and icons are usually much lighter as SVG than as PNG, which helps your website load faster.
Easy to edit
Change colors and shapes in any vector editor, or right here with the color swatches.
Ready for print & cutting
SVG works for printing, embroidery, vinyl cutters, laser engraving and sign making.
Settings guide
Which image type should I choose?
- Clipart
- Logos, icons, stickers and flat illustrations with a few solid colors.
- Photo
- Photos and detailed artwork. The result is a stylized, poster-like vector image.
- Sketch
- Pencil sketches and grayscale images with shades of gray.
- Drawing
- Black-and-white line art, signatures, stamps and scanned drawings.
Tips for the cleanest result
- Start from the largest, sharpest version of your image.
- For logos, use fewer colors — cleaner shapes and a smaller file.
- Keep Edge cleanup on Normal to remove blurry halos and jagged edges.
- Tick "Remove background color" for a transparent SVG.
- Use noise reduction for photos and scans, not for clean logos.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Is this image to SVG converter free?
Yes. It is completely free — no sign-up, no watermark and no download limits.
Is my image uploaded to a server?
No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser, so your image never leaves your device.
Which file formats can I convert?
PNG, JPG/JPEG, WebP, GIF and BMP images can be converted to SVG.
Can I convert a photo to SVG?
Yes, but vectorizing works best for logos, icons, illustrations and line art. Photos become a stylized vector image rather than an exact copy.
How do I get a transparent background?
Tick "Remove background color" in the Output settings, or untick the background color in the Output colors list.
Can I use the SVG for commercial work?
Yes — the result is your own file. Just make sure you own or have the rights to the image you convert.
